Volunteer opportunities abound in the Department of Parks and Recreation. You can volunteer to assist at fun special events like Family Skate Night and Arlington Palooza, help individuals with disabilities learn to swim, help to remove invasive plants from our parks, and much more.
Summer Camp Volunteers

Volunteer to assist at the second annual Arlington Palooza, a fun event filled with live bands, art, games and outdoor activities. Saturday, April 21, 12:30 - 4:30 pm. Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age and able to stand for long periods of time.
Adapted Ice Skating
Volunteer to assist individuals with disabilities as they learn to ice skate on Saturday, April 7 at 12:30 pm. Volunteers must be at least 13 years of age and able to ice skate independently.
