Available Inclusion Supports
Inclusion support will look different for our classes and programs due to the current global pandemic and the need for physical distancing. While we are not able to provide 1:1 or lowered ratio support at this time, we can provide guidance for an adult member from the participant’s household to provide that support.
Additionally, the Therapeutic Recreation Office is committed to supporting individuals through:
- Creating and sharing modification plans
- Conducting class observations upon request
- Supporting instructors and parent/guardians as to how to implement various supports upon request.
Additional supports
- Adapted equipment/techniques
- Sign language interpreters
- Large print and Braille materials
