What: This is an instructional program where all participants will learn the basic fundamentals of track & field. This program is run by Apex Track Club.
Program Goals include:
- Learn track skills in an welcoming and exciting environment and have fun!
- Learn about: Running, sprinting, long jump, shot put, and relays.
- Learn correct stretching and conditioning exercises to avoid injury.
- Participation in individual and team exercises to promote fitness and teamwork.
Who: Ages 6-14 years
When: Saturday mornings only
Spring 2017: April 1 – May 6 Fall 2017: dates TBD
Ages 6-8: 9 AM – 10:15 AM
Ages 9-14: 10:30 AM – 11:50 AM
Where: All sessions are outdoors at the Track at Washington-Lee High School.
Spring 2017: $75 through March 22 2016. $90 on or after March 23. ($15 late fee). Fee Reductions available to those who qualify. When applicable, please apply for fee reduction before registration and payment.
Fall 2016: $75 through September 21, 2016. $90 on or after September 22. ($15 late fee). Fee Reductions available to those who qualify. When applicable, please apply for fee reduction before registration and payment.
Registration: Register online here. Spring 2017 opens March 6 at 9:00am. This program does not fill instantly but we encourage you to register early to avoid late fee. All participants must register and pay before participating.
