Adult Pick-Up Soccer
Arlington County offers a coed Pick-Up Soccer Program for adult players. The Pick-Up Soccer Program offers friendly, informal, small-sided play organized by participants at the field – no set teams, scores, or standings. Serving both men and women- from total novices or people who are trying to learn (or re-learn) the game to experienced, post-collegiate players. This is a low contact program with emphasis on 90 minutes of physical activity and sportsmanship.
Program levels of play offered:
Non-Competitive/Novice – 8:15 – 9:45 pm on Tuesdays. Plays from 6v6 up to 11v11 on mid-size nets with goal keepers across the width of a regulation field. Non-contact sessions perfect for true beginners, those coming off of injury, or skilled players with a non-competitive spirit.
Intermediate – 8:15 – 9:45 pm, on Tuesdays. Plays from 6v6 to 11v11 on mid-size nets with goal keepers across the width of a regulation field. non-contact session for those with increased skill and stamina. Perfect for all ages that enjoy up tempo soccer.
Advanced – 8:15 – 9:45 pm on Tuesdays. Plays from 6v6 to 11v11 on pop-up nets across the width of a regulation field. Low-contact session for experienced players. Perfect for fast-paced, technical players.

Dates: The Winter 2020 season will play December 1st through February 23rd
Times:
8:15 – 9:30 pm Tuesdays (All Divisions)
Location: All Divisions will play at Long Bridge Park.
Cost: The fee for all pick-up programs is $62.50 (Arlington residents) or $92.50 (Non-residents). Fee reductions are available for Arlington residents, based on income. Refunds will be given should there be a cancellation of the program due to COVID-19.
Eligibility: Totally novice beginners are welcome in the Tuesday Non-Competitive program – even if you have never kicked a soccer ball in your life. Players registering for Advanced should be skilled, experienced players.

There is no deadline; registration will remain open until each group fills up. Please register for the wait list if your desired program is full. We may be able to take more players later if turnout is lower than anticipated.
