Adult Summer Soccer Clinic has been canceled due to County closures for CV-19.
Are you looking for a fun new sport? Have you watched your kids play soccer and thought it might be fun to try for yourself? Did you play soccer as a child, but not since, and think you’ve forgotten how to kick the ball? Want to get some great exercise and have fun at the same time? Arlington’s adult soccer clinics might be just what you didn’t know you were looking for.
Arlington County offers six-week adult soccer clinics for men and women. The Beginners clinic is for people who have never played soccer, or who played a bit as a child but not since then. Total novices are most welcome – this class is for you! The Intermediate clinic is for people who took the Beginners clinic or who have played for a year or two, and want to improve their basic skills. The clinics are led by Arlington Soccer Association coaches, with a maximum 16-1 ratio of players to instructors. Both levels of instruction are offered at the same time, on the same field.
Time and Place: Sundays evenings, 7:15 – 8:45 pm at Greenbrier (Yorktown H.S.).
April 5, 19, 26, May 3, 10, 17, 31, June 7 (rain date June 14). No class May 24.
Fee: $115 for Arlington residents, $135 for non-residents
