Arlington Late Night Basketball League
The Arlington County Late Night Basketball League offers a positive alternative for Friday night teen activities. Studies indicate that the majority of teen violence and petty crimes occur on weekend nights. Late Night Basketball provides a positive alternative to those activities.
Who: Boys and Girls currently enrolled in grades 9-12. Teams are coed.
When: Season runs from March 31st through mid-June. Games are played Friday nights. Game start times range from 6:00-10:00pm. Games will not be played on May 26th.
Where: Most games will be played at Wakefield High School and Washington-Lee High School
Schedule: 10 game regular season followed by single elimination tournament.
Cost: $45. Financial assistance available to qualified applicants.
