Learn to Swim Classes
Swimming Classes are available year round at each of the three Arlington Public School Pools in Arlington County during afternoon, evening and weekend open times only. The fee for class includes admission to the pool ONLY during the time and day of your class. You cannot swim before or after class time or come on alternate days unless you pay a general admission or obtain a pool membership. If you would like to use the pool outside of class time you can find more information on general admission fees and hours here. The program includes classes from parent and child, toddler, youth, teen and adult lessons, and adapted classes. Aquatic Instructors NEEDED: shifts are all on weekends and evenings, flexible hours and competitive pay. To submit an application contact Jennifer Lainhart.

Private Lessons are available as a supplement to our group swim program. We recommend all students participate in the group program first when possible. Children under 4 years of age are not eligible for private swim lessons. Click here for more information.
