Creative Preschooler Programs
All Creative Preschoolers Programs are transitioning to a Teacher-Aide Model in the 2018-19 School Year (Fall 2018)! Arlington County's Creative and Cooperative Preschooler Programs are a half-day, age-appropriate recreational program for 3 - 5 year olds emphasizing cooperation, listening, sharing, discovering nature and developing movement and play skills. It's offered from Sept. through May at Carlin Hall, Gunston, Lubber Run (through June 2018), Langston-Brown (after June 2018), Madison and Fairlington Community Centers.
Cooperative Playgroups provide children aged 1 - 4 with their first social group experience outside of the home. This half-day, year-round program includes free play, snack, crafts and playground / gym time. Playgroups are offered at 3 Community Centers: Madison, Lee and Fairlington.
Little Explorer's Summer Camp
The fun doesn't have to end in May! Preschool-aged children continue their adventures in the half-day Little Explorer's Summer Camp. Camp is offered at 5 convenient locations: Carlin Hall, Fairlington, and Madison Community Centers, Lubber Run Community Center (through June 2018), Langston-Brown Community Center (after June 2018) and one elementary school location.
