Hours: 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Sessions: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8
Weekly Fee: $255, session 2 $204 (four day session 2)
Ratio is 1:10, Staff to Participant
Trips: 1 trip per week to a Northern Virginia Regional Park pool or to other fun destination! Campers will also experience 1 on-site special event per week (Examples of trips and special events can be seen on sample calendar below).
Lunch & Snacks: Each child must bring a lunch and a snack to each day to this full day action packed camp.
Staff: There is so much to love about this camp and let’s not forget our amazing staff! We pick high quality & experienced staff who have a specific interest to work with this young age to make sure there first years of camp with Arlington DPR are the best! All of our staff completes a yearly, mandatory 38 hours of training before camp.
Who is Summerfest For?
Ages: 4-10 (rising Kindergarteners through rising 5th Graders only)
This full day camp is great for kids who want the full camp experience with kids of all ages! Perhaps you have children of different ages but want them in the same great camp, then this is the camp for you! Campers are divided in small age groups for age appropriate activities that meet their developmental needs during core time rotations. Campers will also have times throughout the day where all ages play and interact together. These
camps are for FULL DAY care only- summer school students are advised to register for APS Extended Day camps.

At Summerfest we follow a daily structure. This provides a routine that campers follow. Below is a sample daily structure. Slight modifications will be made to accommodate trip days or specialty visits at the camp site.
