Learn, Grow, and Play together as a family on select Saturday mornings from 10 am – 12 pm at our Families Unplugged Programs! Families Unplugged gives families the opportunity to disconnect from electronics and modern distractions and reconnect with each other while participating in fun recreational and leisure activities.

Registration begins Tuesday, November 14 for the following Families Unplugged Programs:
December 9–Cooking in a Winter Wonderland at Walter Reed Community Center
December 16–Gingerbread Houses (AM program) at Arlington Mill Community Center
December 16–Gingerbread Houses (PM program) at Arlington Mill Community Center
January 13–Realistic Resolution Recipes at Walter Reed Community Center
January 27–Puppet Playtime at Arlington Mill Community Center
February 10–Healthy & Sweet Valentine’s Treats at Walter Reed Community Center
February 24–Valentine’s Paint & Play at Arlington Mill Community Center
All classes are designed for families. Recommended ages for children is 3 & up for most classes and ages 5 & up for cooking and fitness classes. Registration is required for all adults and children attending the program.
$8 per class, per person.

Ages: Classes are geared for families with children ages 3 & up. Cooking and fitness classes are more suitable for children ages 5 & up. Children must register with an adult (one adult can register with up to four children).
*Registration Required for child(ren)& parent(s). In the event that an adult is not registered with a child, the registration office will automatically enroll the primary guardian prior to the event and the balance will remain in the household account until paid in full.
