About this Park
Learn about the Bluemont Park Field Renovations and Trail Connections here
This beautiful 70-acre pastoral park offers a cornucopia of activities including biking, jogging, hiking, basketball, disc golf, baseball and softball fields, grass fields for soccer, lacrosse, football, tennis and volleyball courts, a school-age playground, healthy vending machines, picnic areas, multi-use paths, and natural areas with streams for fishing. The park is home to a myriad of fitness-based community events, including the annual Turtle Trot 5K race and the Animal Welfare League of Arlington’s Walk for the Animals.
Bluemont park is a model of sustainable design including natural resources management containing invasive plant removal that has made way for native species to grow. The W&OD Trail, which is managed by the Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority, runs through the park if you’re looking to bike or go for a jog. The park also surrounds Reevesland, which was the last operating dairy farm in Arlington.
