Virginia Relay enables people who are deaf, hard of hearing, Deaf Blind, or have difficulty speaking to communicate by TTY (text telephone) or another assistive telephone device with anyone who uses a standard phone. Relay services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days per year, with no limit on the number or length of calls a user may make. Special features are available for individuals who have difficulty speaking, as well as Spanish-speaking and sign language users. A representative of Virginia Relay will explain the telecommunication eligibility requirements and how to obtain these services.
