10:30 am-11:30 am
Reading aloud to children is one of the most important activities to encourage success in school and life. Whether you volunteer as a reader in a school or community setting, or read to your grandchildren at home or over video chat, the time spent reading is enriching for all.
No special skills needed to participate in this workshop. Librarian Anne Womack will present a storytime emphasizing tips for reading aloud to children. Attendees are encouraged to participate by reading books aloud and singing along to favorite preschool songs. If you are taking care of children you are welcome to bring them with you. If there are children in attendance a preschool craft project will follow the storytime program.
