RSVP for the National Nutrition Month: Put Your Best Fork Forward event!
Celebrate National Nutrition Month® on Sunday, March 26 with the Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC) and Virginia Cooperative Extension (VCE)!
Join us at Arlington Central Library Auditorium from 2-5 pm for an afternoon of fun for the whole family. The FREE event teaches children about My Plate through games and activities and provides families, caregivers, and teachers nutrition tips through a variety of 5-minute presentations. 2-3:30 pm: My Plate activities for kids!
Themed activities related to My Plate food groups (fruits, vegetables, protein, dairy, and grains), including planting vegetable seedlings, jeopardy, and games!
3:30-5 pm: Ignite Presentations on nutrition topics (5 minutes each)
