You’re Invited to a Family Night @ the Mill & Family Fun Night Production
Arlington County aims to provide a safe environment where all individuals and families can relax and be who they are. We strive to make our events and facilities welcoming and accessible to everyone. In honor of National Therapeutic Recreation Month the Office of Youth and Family Programs and the Therapeutic Recreation Office invites all families to an interactive family movie night!
-Bring pillows, a blanket, and cozy up for a family movie night
-Watch a series of Disney Short Films together as a family
-Take a break from the movie experience at our craft station where you will create a collaborative community art project
-Popcorn will be available for purchase, $1 per bag
At this event guests are invited to:
– Get up, move around, cheer, clap, or otherwise engage with the movie presentation.
-Bring fidgets or other small, quiet items that may allow them to feel more comfortable.
-Take a break from the film experience at any time. A craft station and quiet sensory room will be available during the program.
-Check out our social story online online or in person at the event.
-Family movie night maps are available online and on-site.
Family Nights are free to enter and open to the public. Youth participants must be supervised by an adult. Arlington County can provide modifications upon request. Advance notice is welcome. Please contact 703-228-4736.
