These are unprecedented times. Arlington County has adjusted its refund policy to better support our community.
Arlington County Department of Parks and Recreation camps is providing full refunds to our community for programs, rentals, classes, camps or any services you registered for that are impcted by the pandemic.
If you registered for a DPR program, rental, class, camp, etc., a full refund will be issued to your household RecTrac account and a receipt emailed to the contact listed on the account.
If you would like a refund in the form of your original payment, please contact us at 703-228-4747 or email@example.com. Our agents are standing by to help you, weekdays 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Credit/debit card refunds are credited back to the card issued within 3-5 business days from the time we receive the refund request. Check and money orders may take up to 6-8 weeks to be mailed to the address on file.
Refunds from our Contractor Camps
Check with your contractor directly to determine their refund policy. Arlington County camp contractors are either following their established refund policies or following Arlington County’s Department of Parks and Recreation policy if they don’t have their own. If the contractor’s policy is not to provide full refunds, then we cannot intercede. Arlington County is not able to offer refunds on behalf of the contractors, as the payments were made directly to the contractor.
If you aren’t sure how to contact the contractor, check in the 2020 Guide to Summer Camps in Arlington County. All Arlington County Parks and Recreation camps are denoted with an Arlington County icon. (You can also find the contractor website in their listing.)
Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you need help contacting the contractor. Let us know the contractor’s name, the camp name/session number, and the names of each child in the camp.
If I still have questions, please contact our registration office at 703-228-4747, weekdays 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. or you can email us at email@example.com.
