A 2.5% fee is charged by our credit card processor. Customers using credit cards pay the convenience fee directly to the credit card processor. Arlington County does not receive any portion of the fee.
There are two ways to avoid paying the surcharge:

You can avoid the fee by paying with cash or check at these locations:
- DPR Administrative Services Office, 3700. S Four Mile Run Dr. Mon- Fri: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Arlington Mill Community Center, 909 S. Dinwiddie St. Mon/Wed/Fri: 8 a.m.-4 p.m.; Tues: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.; Thurs: 8 a.m.- 5:30 p.m.
- Madison Community Center, 3829 Stafford St. Mon- Fri: 9 a.m.- 5:30 p.m.
(Please note, our system does not process PIN-based debit card transactions. Debit Cards carrying the Visa or MasterCard logo may be used online, but are processed as credit cards and incur the 2.5% fee.)
Cancellations and refunds:
The 2.5% credit card surcharge is nonrefundable unless the program or reservation is cancelled by DPR.
Any “bank” fees incurred as a result of an E-Check, due to insufficient funds or incorrect account information, will not be refunded under any circumstance.
