Adapted Ice Skate Afternoon April 7 at Kettler Ice Arena
Volunteers will arrive at 11:30 a.m. and work through the end of the program until approx. 2:30 p.m.
We need your help to make this event a huge success! TR will have exclusive use of the ice rink from 12:40-2:10 p.m. for individuals with disabilities or families that have a child with a disability. All ages will be welcome, and participants pay $1 per person due on site, which covers skate rental. Volunteers are asked to assist the children while ice skating, set up/clean-up of equipment and the facility, and to assist families and children during the program time with any needs that may arise. This is a great opportunity for someone with the interest in working with families and children with disabilities.
- Skate rentals will be provided to volunteers that do not have their own skates during the event.
- Volunteers for this event must be at least 13 years old.
Please register as an individual volunteer or create a volunteer group! You will do this online through EventBrite. *Please Note* There are a limited number of non-skating positions so please be sure to reserve the correct ticket type. (You will be asked to confirm this both at the beginning and the end of the registration process).
You will be contacted by the organizer, one week prior to the event.
