The perfect day for disaster! Teens are invited to participate in an adventurous, hands-on, emergency response scenario alongside Arlington’s public safety and emergency response teams, the American Red Cross and additional safety professionals.
This exciting day will impart safety awareness, emergency response training, career development and more.
In addition to the disaster drill, hear informative presentations by the Red Cross, partake in social media sessions, CPR training and check out a gallery of shiny rescue response vehicles.
Learn more about careers in fire rescue, police and Red Cross and walk away with new-found preparedness for an emergency situation.
All participants will receive a certificate of completion from one of an elite emergency officer. $10 fee includes lunch, go-bag filled with disaster prep essentials and program t-shirt.
